Three major legends of Bay Area thrash metal are shaking the ground of festival stages in Europe during summer season 2026: METAL CHURCH, DEATH ANGEL and TESTAMENT. A package that makes the heart of each thrash metal jump, especially if you were young in the 1980s. And this package hasn’t disappointed, especially not when they took the time for a club show at Cologne’s Essigfabrik in Germany – a whole night of the finest Bay Area Thrash Metal!
Tyla, Todd and Dane – Phil Campbell’s offsprings – featuring Julian Jenkins (FURY) on vocals keeping the flame and the spirit alive as PHIL CAMPBELL’S BASTARD SONS after the tragic death of their father. With their 2026 summer gigs this combo gives proof of their capabilities as a fantastic live band. Their mix of Mötorhead songs and their own material is a great mix of metal, hard rock and rock ‘n’ roll. Lemmy and Phil will be watching proudly from heaven. Rounding up the package as support was JAKE & THE CONVOLUTION.
Hot item of this summer in Germany: LANSDOWNE. The US-based hard rockers from BOSTON came back to Europe again after their first tour run last spring. Besides festival appearances, they did a number of headline shows. We have visited their gig in Stuttgart that took place on one of the hottest days of the year so far. And this was not only due to the combination with the opening act SMOKING LIPS.
One night, one band: MACHINE HEAD. The California based combo came to Ludwigsburg to take the audience on an almost 3 hrs ride through the band’s history. Robb Flynn and his fellow bandmates delivered a blasting show with stunning visuals, great sound, flames and lights. It was simply amazing and crowd followed actively with massive circle pits and a large number of crowdsurfers. A truly genuine concert experience!
A four‑hour Scandinavian metal storm hit Stuttgart as Vomitory, Vreid, Abbath and Hypocrisy unleashed a night of fog, riffs and raw intensity at the LKA Longhorn. Dive into our photo report and relive the highlights.
A night of pure thrash power in Stuttgart: NAILS, EXODUS, CARCASS and legends KREATOR delivered fire, speed and unforgettable moments on the “KRUSHERS OF THE WORLD TOUR 2026”. Dive into our full photo report and relive the chaos. This night had it all: a full arsenal: towering ghouls, fire, smoke, and a stage show as intense as the music.
Frozen Soul, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Halo Effect and Heaven Shall Burn turned Stuttgart into the heart of extreme metal for one night: “HEIMAT OVER EUROPE TOUR 2026” entered the Porsche Arena. From crisp Texan death metal to a blazing German headliner finale, the four‑band assault delivered one unforgettable, hot and loud night.
Swedish power disco rock masters ROYAL REPUBLIC are on their “LOVECOP Tour 2026”. The fun overloaded stage performance rocked the masses and with the first tunes everybody in the crowd starts groovin’ during the vibrant live show. Support was given by the German ALEX MOFA GANG and their mix of punk, indie and a little pop music.
Another year is over and our photographer Tom Treuten is still doing what he loves most: concert photography. Since October 2021 we’re a home for his photographic work and these are some of his personal highlights of 2025 that he hopes you’ll enjoy them as much as him, with pictures of VULVARINE, STEPFATHER FRED, ANKOR, DONOTS, WOLFMOTHER, THUNDERMOTHER, SKINDRED, TUK SMITH & THE RESTLESS HEARTS, SALTATIO MORTIS, PARKWAY DRIVE, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, MOONSHOT, MEGADETH, KISSIN’ DYNAMITE, HELLOWEEN, ENGST, GATECREEPER, ENEMY INSIDE, DISTURBED, DANKO JONES, BEAST IN BLACK, APRIL ART, EMIL BULLS, ELUVEITIE, AVANTASIA, ARCH ENEMY, AMENRA, NITA STRAUSS, and COBRA SPELL!
At the end of last year, power metal legends HELLOWEEN were taking their 40th anniversary tour through Europe and they lit up Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart, Germany with a jaw-dropping show. Finnish next generation power metallers BEAST IN BLACK kicked things off, before the main act unleashed pyro, confetti, and pure metal magic. A night of epic riffs and fan-fueled celebration!
